The Third Sunday Antiphon
Come, let us sing joyfully to the Lord, let us acclaim God, our Savior.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.
Let us come before His face with praise, and acclaim Him in psalms.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.
For God is the great Lord and the great king over all the earth.
Son of God, risen from the dead, save us who sing to You: Alleluia.

Gospel: (Mark 8:34 - 9:1)
The Lord said: "Whoever wishes to come after me must deny himself, take up his cross, and follow me. For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and that of the gospel will save it. What profit is there for one to gain the whole world and forfeit his life? What could one give in exchange for his life? Whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this faithless and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of when he comes in his Father's glory with the holy angels." He also said to them, "Amen, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see that the kingdom of God has come in power."
The First Sunday Antiphon
Shout to the Lord, all the earth: sing now to His name, give glory to His praise.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.
Say unto God, “How awesome are your works! Because of the greatness of Your strength Your enemies will flatter You.”
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.
Let all the earth worship You and sing to You, let it sing to Your name, O Most High.
Through the prayers of the Mother of God, O Savior, save us.
Instead of: “It is truly right…”
All creation* rejoices in you,* O full of grace:* the assembly of angels and the human race.
O sanctified temple and spiritual paradise,* boast of virgins!* God became incarnate in you.* Being our God before all ages, he became a child.* By making your womb his throne,* you became more spacious than the skies.
All creation rejoices in you,* O full of grace. Glory to you.
Kinonikon
The light of your countenance* has shown upon us, O Lord.
Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia.
At the end of the Liturgy
To your cross, O Master, we bow in veneration, and we glorify your holy resurrection. (3 times)
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever and ever. Amen. And we glorify your holy resurrection.
To your cross, O Master, we bow in veneration, and we glorify your holy resurrection.
Tropars
Angelic powers were upon Your tomb and the guards became like dead men;* Mary stood before Your tomb seeking Your most pure body.* You captured Hades without being overcome by it.* You met the Virgin and granted life.* O Lord, risen from the dead,* glory be to You!
O Lord, save your people* and bless your inheritance.* To all who do battle with sin and evil,* grant victory;* and by the power of your cross* protect your people.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, now and for ever and ever. Amen.
The sword of fire no longer guards the gate of paradise,* for the tree of the cross has extinguished it most gloriously.* Death is no more* and Hades in defeat is expelled.* And you, O Savior, have stood before those in Hades invitingly calling:* Once again come to paradise.
Instead of the Trisagion
